Family and friends of a man killed earlier this year are looking to the public to help find his killer.
Police say 31-year-old Aylett Hanson was the victim of a homicide when he was found dead in a parked car January 23.
Hanson’s loved ones gathered near the intersection of 26th Avenue and Spenard Road Saturday to put up fliers and canvas the area, asking people for any information about the night he was killed.
“We couldn’t have done half the things we’re doing without their help,” said Hanson’s mother, Shelley Hanson. “This is our last chance and if anybody saw or heard anything, please come forward and help us find the killer of my son.”
So far, Anchorage police have not yet made an arrest in connection with Hanson’s death.
