The Anchorage Police Department said no injuries were reported and no arrests were made following reports of gunfire near the Avenue Bar at 338 W. 4th Ave. early Saturday morning.
The shots were reported around 2:45 a.m., according to APD, and the driver of a Yellow Cab nearby told officers that one of his windows had been struck. Multiple other vehicles in the area were also struck and damaged, police said.
While several people were interviewed following the incident and officers collected evidence at the scene, APD said the investigation was ongoing Saturday afternoon.
